Quality Assurance

Data quality through a systematic process.

Quality is not created at the end of a project. Our multi-stage process operates at three points: before fieldwork, during data collection and at data review.

01

Briefing

Project-specific training for all deployed interviewers before fieldwork begins.

02

Live monitoring

Constant supervision – visually and auditorily, live and retrospectively.

03

Data analysis

Plausibility check after just 10% of completed interviews.

Briefing & interviewer selection

Every project begins with project-specific training for all deployed interviewers. Study topic, target group, questionnaire logic and special requirements are discussed in detail – before the first interview is conducted.

Interviewers are assigned to target groups based on their strengths and experience. Someone surveying workshop owners in France brings the relevant experience.

Hourly pay, not piece-rate

Our interviewers are paid by the hour – not per interview completed. This prevents quality pressure and encourages careful conversation management.

Target-group-specific deployment

Experienced interviewers for familiar target groups – particularly in Automotive and Agriculture we have long-standing routine.

Pilot interviews before fieldwork

Before the official start of fieldwork, pilot interviews are conducted to validate questionnaire logic and conversation flow.

Constant supervision during the field phase

Supervisors accompany all interviewers throughout the entire field phase – live and retrospectively. Monitoring operates on two levels: visually via the interview software and auditorily by directly listening in on conversations.

Anomalies in the interview flow, deviations from the guide or technical problems can be detected early and corrected immediately.

Visual monitoring

Supervisors can see in real time which section of the questionnaire each interviewer is in and how long the conversation has lasted.

Auditory monitoring & live coaching

The supervisor can connect directly to the interviewer's ear and give instructions – without the respondent hearing.

Nachkontrolle & Interviewmetriken

Random post-checks and systematic analysis of interview duration and dropout rates for continuous quality monitoring.

Early data analysis from 10% of cases

Already after 10% of interviews are completed we analyse the collected data for plausibility and completeness. Errors in questionnaire programming, unexpected distributions or input errors become visible early – before they propagate across the entire sample.

In addition, clients receive a personal report link with access to the live questionnaire analysis – frequency counts per question in real time, available from the first completed interview.

Plausibility check

Checking for logical consistency, correct filter routing and unusual response patterns.

Report link for clients

Clients receive a personal report link for live questionnaire analysis – frequency counts per question, available from the first completed interview.

Quota fulfilment live

The current field status – completed interviews and quota fulfilment – is viewable at any time via the report link.
